Today my dog, Nikon, got to play in the snow for the first time! He had so much fun running around chasing snow balls and still falling snow flakes! So adorable!

Continental Event Center Open House

July 4th at Great Meadows
Monday, July 4th, 2011My good friend Kevin Rychlyck of American Helicopters invited me out to Great Meadows for their July 4th celebration. Kevin brought several helicopters out for an air show before the fireworks began. The festivities included a Parachuter who jumped from one of the helicopters and flew an American Flag. I also had the opportunity to meet the owner of the Yellow Submarine Sandwich Corp. who kindly gave me a free sandwich! *Yummy* Unfortunately I wasn’t able to photograph the fireworks since the rain started picking up. However, I had a great time though visiting some friends and celebrating our Nation’s Independence.
Mike’s Birthday Party
Saturday, February 12th, 2011Mike’s birthday party at the National Harbor in Oxen Hill, MD. I love this hotel, it is so amazing inside! His room was on the top floor overlooking the atrium, very cool!
USS Enterprise Leaving Port
Thursday, January 13th, 2011My brother, Brian, is assigned to the USS Enterprise; they left port today to go on his first 6 month cruise. I was there to see him off and last night he took me on a quick tour of the ship. It was really cool seeing the ship and watching her leave port 
This is his bunk for the next 6 months.. it's going to get a little cramped I think!
MVFC Open House
Saturday, September 11th, 2010Here are some images form my volunteer fire company’s open house. There were a lot of fun events and activities including a simulation room burn to show how quickly fire can develop in a home. The Manassas Volunteer Fire Company has an open house every year, this year we had it on the 9th anniversary of the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. Some of our members have family in the FDNY and we were all affected by that tragic event.
